Drinks were ordered and Bernadette spoke for Melanie. “Bloody Mary, Melanie?” That’s what I’m having. It’s mostly tomato juice, O.K.? If you don’t like it, I’ll drink it. I’m thirsty as terry cloth for them.”

4 oz. tomato juice

1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice

3 dashes Tabasco sauce

2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
